Sadaf Ahmadi (b. 1985) is a multidisciplinary Iranian-Swedish artist educated in Tehran at Sooreh art university and Karnameh Institute of Arts and Culture, under the mentorship of Abbas Kiarostami.
After having worked for 16 years in Iranian cinema, as a director, assistant director and actor, Sadaf Ahmadi moved to Sweden in 2020 and is now based in the city of Borås. Her artworks focus on themes concerning freedom of speech and the situation for women and dissidents in her native Iran.
